Ian Lindsey, 22, looks in the right mirror of his trash truck, making sure his partner is safe before continuing on his route in south Columbia. Lindsey and his partner, Joey Winn, switch between driving and throwing trash about twice an hour. “I hate driving all day,” Lindsey said. “You have to watch out for your partner, check your mirrors. It gets tiring.”
